I am searching for the parents of Samuel WILSON (b. 1812) who appeared in a 1850 census of
Caldwell Co. His wife's name was Rosa. Their children were Thomas D., Mary J., Sarah, Jason

My great, great grandfather was a slave named Abe HARDEMAN. I'm not sure when he was
born but I do know he lived in Caldwell up until 1906 the year he died. Around 1872 or 1873 he
had a daughter named Vinney Hardeman, my great grandmother who died in 1981 at 108.
Because the Hardeman's were known to be a very prominent family during this time, I believe that
this family possibly owned my great-great grandfather as a slave due to the fact that his last name
is also Hardeman and he grew up and died in are around the Caldwell area. If there are any slave
documents, slave schedules, papers ect. that might help me in my research, please email on how I
might obtain them this would be greatly appreciated! Juanita Stewart

My father William Terrell LARREMORE was born around 1898 I believe around Lockhart. I
remember stories of a ranch near a place called 'Larremore Station'. My grandfather, William
Larremore has a sister Sue, a brother Albert (A Y), who according to my information died in
Mexico. My grandfather was married to Minnie Cardelia WITHERS (born 7-16-1872 in San
Marcos Tx, she died 12/18/47 in El Paso Tx.) She was the daughter of Richard Withers and Cora
LANE (no other information available). There is also mention of another brother named Ed, who
owned a ranch in Fredericksburg. The Larremore homestead was half way between Lockhart and
Maxwell, supposedly called 'Larremore'. Any assistance you can give me will be greatly
appreciated. Thanks. Cliff Larremore

I am searching for any information on the family of M.V. PARCHMAN. All I have is that he
applied for a military pension in 1912, as a resident of Caldwell Country, for service in the CSA
Army during the Civil War. He was a member of Co. D of Davidson's Battalion and had enlisted
on Oct 27, 1862. His first name may be Martin. On his application he indicated that he was born
in Tennessee and moved to Texas about the time he was 16 years of age. Any information would
be greatly appreciated. Yours, Walt Russell
