Lord Dunmore governor of VA, started an uprising with the Indians to drive the Scottish and Germans out of VA, he wanted the new land for his people. Later they drove him back to England. 1744-1748 King George's War. Fighting broke out between the French and British colonists as part of a European conflict called the War of the Austrian Succession. 1754-1763 French & Indian War. Ended French and British disputes over North American territory. 1775-1783 Revolutionary War. 19 April 1775 to 11 April 1783. 1782-1787 Pennamite-Yankee war. Fought between the colonists of Connecticut and Pennsylvania for possession of the Wyoming Valley.
