Death of Mrs. Hannah Young
The Caldwell News Chronicle,
Caldwell, Texas
May 26, 1905

Mrs. Hannah Young, aged 82 years, died at her home near Caldwell last Saturday night, having been in bad health for some time, the infirmities of old age gradually wearing her away.

She was one of the oldest settlers of Burleson County, having been in this section about fifty years.  She was married to Chas. Young, who was hr second husband, in 1845, and leaves one son, C. W. Young , and one daughter, Mrs. Wm. Pettis, in this county, besides two married daughters, who live in other places.

She was a member of the Baptist Church and had lived a useful life, and many will regret to hear of her death, though she had filled her mission here well, and is now at rest in a brighter world.

The funeral services occurred Sunday afternoon and she was buried in the old Allbright Cemetery.
