Funeral Services of Mrs. Hall Are Held on Tuesday
The funeral of Mrs. Amanda Sherrill Hall, wife of T. P. Hall of the Steep Hollow community was held, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Steep Hollow Baptist church, with interment made in the church cemetery nearby.  Rev. Jesse Thomson, of College Station conducted the funeral service, assisted by Rev. R. E. Day of Bryan.
 
The new made grave was a mound of flowers, when the last words of the sacred service had been said, the prayer of benediction had assembled to the Heavenly Father above, and with sad and broken hearts, the bereaved family and friends took their departure from the cemetery.
 
The following neighbors and life long friends were the pall bearers:  I. M. Cook, Jim Tobias, T. A. Bullock, J. J. Vandiver, C. M. Risinger, Roy Foster.
 
Among those who attended the funeral this afternoon besides relatives and friends from the surrounding were:  Dr. E. A. Sherrill of Houston; Dr. C. A. Sherrill of San Antonio; J. W. Sherrill and family, Cook's Point; J. J. Pressley ande family, Cook's Point; Mrs. M. E. Mitchell and family and Mr. and Mrs. H. Watson and family, College; Rev. and Mrs. R. L. brown, College, Rev. and Mrs. P. F. Day, Mrs. Albert Buchanan, Mr. and Mrs. J. Webb Howell, Miss Mae Sowarby, and Mrs. Jess Conley, Mrs. Tom jenkins, Mr. and Mrs. H. Maidley, Tyler Haswell, Mr. and Mrs. Roy__ Nunn, Mrs. Chas. E. Griesser, Mrs. E. H. Gibbons, Mrs. Ethel Edmonds, Mrs. P. Paul Martin, Mrs. C. W. Ross and others from Bryan."
 
Amanda Sherrill was the daughter of William Morgan Sherrill and Elizabeth Norcross.
