  Henry COLMS hanged himself in the Presidio County jail. He was charged with theft of $13. 00.

JOHNSON of Navasota for mechanism for overcoming dead centers, John E. LINCH of Carlton for back hand -----, Virgil A. MASON of Austin for trolley pole, Timothy B. PERRY of West for hand planer, Thomas RILEY of Austin for car coupler, Carl H. SHULTE of Granbury for reversible hoe, John G. SHERRILL of Gordon for car coupler.

Walter ADAMS lost one of his match horses last Saturday night. [Clay]

  Joseph LUX, Jr. of Sealy won first prize at the annual meeting of State Photographers Association in Dallas. He is a saddler and in 1893 won first prize for best saddle at Chicago.

  At Waco, Texas Walter FORD [c] was sentenced to hang for murder of Lucinda MOORE, a pretty 17-year-old colored girl.

  Tom WILKERSON [c] in employee of O. W. JOHNSON is laid up as the result of his horse stepping in a hole and falling on him.
