John W. HAY, many years ago a resident of Burleson County, but for 20 years a citizen of Austin died in that city, one day last week.

At the residence of A. B. DUCKWORTH, Rev. R. F. STOKES of Itasca, Hill County and Mrs. Kate COMBS were married. They will live at Itasca.

C. A. BROADDUS & son, Andrew will separate their business. Andrew will go into business with Theodore BROADDUS in the old stand selling the hot meals and C. A. will establish a soda water, confectionery, ice cream stand next door to J. D. STOKES saddle house.

Mrs. Jud WOMBLE and Mrs. Harry HUDSON had a buggy & team accident with the buggy & team carrying Mr. William PHILP and Green WILLIAMS. The ladies were thrown from their buggy and slightly injured.

A difficulty on the BROWN Bros. farm in Brazos bottom happened between Luther WATERS and Tom MABRY and a Negro named Will PALL. John MABRY shot PALL. [Gause]

The little daughter of C. ATLOFF was buried at the Methodist Church Cemetery at Cooks Point.
