James Garrett Pike (seen in photo with shotgun and dog Smokey), a farmer and Civil War veteran was born in Alabama then migrated to Arkansas Co., Arkansas were he served in the the Civil War in the 1st Arkansas, Co. H. He then migrated to Holland, Texas then later to Bangs. He is buried in Dallas Cemetery in Holland, Texas.

James Albert Pike was born in Arkansas and migrated with his family to Texas. He was a Barber in Brownwood whose Barber Shop was near the Train Depot.

James Bradley Pike was a prominant and admired Brownwood Fireman and was Assistant Fire Chief in Brownwood.

James Wayne Pike was born in his grandparents' house on Malone Street, grew up in Brownwood, was on the High School Football Team and Graduated from Brownwood High School.
