I am looking for information on my ggrandfather, Elijah ORR born March 1857 in Choctaw Co., MS and moved to Bowie
Co. Texas before 1900. My gggrandfather, Edwin Pyson ORR- born 1820 in SC, died 1899 in Bowie Co., TX. Where are they
buried? Elijah ORR had a stepson named Charles WEEKS - born Nov 1869 in MS, living in New Boston in 1900. I would

Dear Sir or Madam, Is anyone familiar with "Gillum Cemetery" in Bowie County? My gggrandfather, Thomas Howard
STANLEY and his parents, John D. and Lida Stanley are said to be buried there. T.H. Stanley died in 1919, probably early
spring, but we have been unsuccessful in finding his death certificate. It has also been said that the cemetery was no
longer in use by the time T.H. Stanley died, but his last request was to be buried with his parents who would have died

of Marcellas Marabo WICKER and Nancy MCCASLAND,and their children. Marcellas WICKER is the son of John WICKER and
Harriet JACOBS. I have information about two of their sons:my husband's father,Howard Nash MARTIN born:January 11,1907
in Avinger,Texas and Arnold Ray MARTIN:born: January 23,1914 in Avinger,Texas. They had other children that we have no
information about. We need all the information that we can gather about our family,such as the names of their

says that Mary Francis ADAMS' parents were both b in AR.
WHITEHURST, WEST***Searching for info on the family of Jesse WHITEHURST m. to Mary DUNAWAY. Jesse and his second
wife moved to Bowie Co. after 1882 from Barbour Co. AL. Jesse brought with him his minor children from a previous wife.
Mary Eunice, Cornelia Ellafair and Jesse Jr. Jesse was previously married to Julia Ann WEST. Some of her brothers made

MORRIS b. 3 Feb 1842, d. 14 Jan 1928. Enoch MORRIS, Sr. and his wife Catherine COLLUM are buried in the Confederate
Cemetery in Austin, TX.. The father of Enoch is Seth MORRIS b. 1805 m. Mary Ann ?, but have no further information
about the ancestors
I am looking for any records of Hollis Alvin MCDANIEL, he was born in Bowie, TX. Born Feb. 9, 1918 or 1919. His
father was Lemuel McDaniel from Hopkins County, TX. Born Nov. 21, 1873. Lemuel's wife was Ruthie HOLLIS. I am looking

I am serching for any information on GEORGE W. WARD whoi was born in clayborn La July 1834. He is listed on the
1900 census as living in Miller Co. with his Son MILES J. WARD and his wife, and two of his children, John w. age 18 and
wiley his grandson 6/12. I have been unable to find any of them on the 1910 or 1920 census. They are listed in the
Garland Township. I would like to hear from anyone having any information on any of this family. the children of GEORGE
WARD that I know of are, Henry, James W. Walter G, Martha Mariah, Zennia , Washington, Miles J and John W. I have bee
