I am looking for information on Robert Fontaine IRBY and Vassar Thaddeus IRBY. They were my great grandfather and
grandfather. They and their descendants have ranched in Goliad Co. since 1911. I am primarily looking for information
that may have appeared in newspapers or in historical publications.
Seek info on Henry LANGFORD in 1880s in Bowie, Texas (Montague County) as a child. Father Caleb Earl LANGFORD Sr
born 1858 ALA. Mother Lorena S VANPELT born c1866. Brothers: John W(Washington/Willis)LANGFORD born 1884 TX. Bud(Caleb
Jr.) LANGFORD born 1893 Bowie, Texas. Sisters: Nellie born 1888 TX, Mary Alice born 1889 Bowie TX, and Lorraine, Lula,
Emma born Okla. Family lived in Bowie County, Texas, as well as the town of Bowie in Montague County, and later settled
near Byars, Okla.
Searching for a death or marriage record circa 1930-1940 for Winnie Rebecca POINTER BEGGS. Last known place of
residence Dekalb, Texas. This is my father's birth mother who gave him up for adoption in 1917. Possibly buried in

between 1830-1839 in Jefferson County, Ark. His wife and several children moved moved to Cass County, near the Naples
area. Margaret was born abt 1786 in PA or Ohio and died between 1850-1860. Her land grant states she came to Texas in

the 1850 cencus. Her husband was not living in the home, he must have died between 1840 and 1849. Her Children: 1.
Jeptha DAVIS born abt 1825 in Tenn. married Rebecca JONES Dec. 15, 1847 in Cass County, They lived near Bryans Mill 2.
Elizabeth DAVIS born abt 1826 in Georgia died 1850-1853 was the first wife of Wesley B. JONES. Family history has it
that she and their four children died of the fever. 1850 cencus in Cass County shows one daughter named Parthana JONES

11/20/1901 They moved to Telico, Texas (no longer in existence, it appears, but south of Dallas near Ennis) sometime
betwen 1905-1915.
Looking for the death date and burial place of James Madison SMITH and wife Mary Martha Josephine YANCEY, who lived
in Bowie County Tx during the 1920's. Children of James and Mary SMITH were William Slater, Ava Lee, Venice Evert, Ollie
Bomar, Exie Ray, and Lester.
BRYAN, Albert, BRYAN, Allen, twin brothers believed to be b. Dec 1880. Lived at one point in Texarkana possibly and
believed both passed away in Houston. If anyone has any information on these BRYAN twins, I would like to correspond

TIDWELL. My grandmother was Alva Tidwell who was born near New Boston, perhaps in the Sand Hill Community. She
married Thomas Howell and they had four children, one of who was my mother. They later moved to the Eylau Community on
Highway 59 south of Texarkana.
SHEPHERD, John B. (d. July 1909 Texarkana). Married Sarah L. Haydon (d. 1918 Texarkana, AR). Two known sons,
William M. Shepherd (1855-1890) and CL Shepherd. CL Shepherd owned and operated Shepherd Shoe Co. in Texarkana, AR. Any
information regarding these SHEPHERD family members in Bowie County?

1818, Illinois. They married abt 1847/1849. They were living 1860 in Grayson County, Texas. With the following children:
