My Great Great Grandfather Nelson MAXFIELD, his son, my Great Grandfather Buford Alma MAXFIELD and his son, my
Great Uncle, Lester MAXFIELD are all suppose to be buried in Seymour, Texas. Infact family members have said they are
buried on the "Hash Knife Ranch" which they supposedly owned at one time. Can anyone tell me if this is true? Did they
own the ranch at one time and are they buried there? Nelson died: 1923, Buford died about 1977 and Lester died December
1986. They should all be buried together.

I am researching a JOHNSON family that moved into Baylor Co about 1900 and became cotton farmers. The husband was
"Bud" and wife Annie/Anna. She was still living in 1947 with her daughter and was probably in her 90's The couple may
have come from GA. The daughter may have been Stella G.(Georganna??) shown on Baylor Co Marriages as married to E.
Victor Edwards in 1919. I remember that the son-in-law had fallen from a wind mill breaking both legs causing him to use
crutches the rest of his life. The family had lived briefly in Hunt Co, TX with his brother Samuel Pierce Johnson and
wife Nettie Clay Perry. There was a third brother, George Washington Johnson, that finally settled in Wichita Falls, TX

After a recent article in the newspaper, I was contacted by Larry Seitzler. About 1984, he found a Bible on
Preston Road in Dallas, TX. There is no family information but it says "Seymour Sunday School to Marjorie Newhof, May
22, 1962." He had checked with Seymour Churches and schools and found no one who remembered her so put it away. He hopes
to return it to her someday or to her family. I have checked anew, with no luck. Contact me by e-mail or Larry at 1-888-
8800 ex 678 if you have any information about her or her family. Thank you.
