On the back written in pencil is "Sallie's home in Athens Texas"
That is the house my mother grew up in. She says it was built in 1889 by Sally Wofford. She lived in the house for about 4 years before moving to Dallas. At which time My mother's parents bought the house. They lived in it as is in the picture for about 15 yrs. then remodeled the house and lived in it until the late 1970's. The house is still located at 518 E. Tyler St. in Athens. It is now a law office. Your picture is the only one we have seen of the house before the remodel. My grandmother had some that were lost. My grandparents were Judge Sam and Juanita Holland. Mother is Jacquelynn Holland Fisher. Lynne Holland Fisher Wilcox
