CLASS ROLL of OLD ALLIGATOR SCHOOL IN '69 IS FOUND 

Most of those who attended the Old Alligator School, East of Baxter, in the 
spring of 1869, have passed on J. L. (Jim) WARREN, deputy county clerk, 
reminisced Saturday morning.  When he came across the old class roll.  There 
were seventeen students under the direction of the late James H. SKINNER, the 
"professor."  They were:
