Martin Springs School early 1900s
This picture I am sending is so very old. I found it with my Mother's pictures with no identification. She was the fourth generation of her family to live in the same community, so it would have to be of the school in that area...........the Martin Springs School if it existed then. I would identify Naudie Belle Grier, later Cotten, as the 5th girl from the right on the front row. She was born 1901 and died 1983. I would identify Floy Gertrude Grier, later Wofford, Belle's sister, as the 3rd girl from the right on the top row. She was born 1894 and died 1981. Submitted by Betty Terrell Owens
