In the History of Henderson County by J. J. Faulk, R. D. Palmer wrote about
Cat Fish Community, which later became the Centerview Community.
This community is located south of Larue on FM# 2588 nearly to the
Anderson County line. The older members of this community had a
picnic up into the 1940’s but most of the residents of this
community do not know the location of the old school house.
