This photograph hung on a wall in my grandfather's
house as long as he lived. I can identify two people in it
positively and one probably: the bare-legged boy with hat in hand
seated second from right in the second row is my grandfather,
Charles Henry Temple (1890-1967). In the top row, the third girl
from the teacher, next to the tall boy, is my grandfather's
sister Nora (1884-1907). The tall boy in the top row is probably
Henry Davidson, who married Nora in 1904.
