The woman in the middle is my
great-grandmother Rebecca Susan CLEVELAND SIMS. I think the
other women are two of her daughters, Mittie and Sallie. I am not
sure
who some of the children are, but I think some belong to Aunt
Mittie.
She was married to James Edward LAYMANCE, then to a DAY and
finally to a
FRYER. The young man behind her is her son, Andrew Jackson
LAYMANCE. I
think the girl at the other end is her daughter, Ella Mae DAY.
The two
boys with Mittie may be her sons Irvin and Everett DAY.
Aunt Sallie was married to George GUNSTANSON and later to Thomas
Jefferson FRYER. If I dated the picture correctly, at about 1915,
the
baby Sallie is holding may be her daughter Lottie O. FRYER
If anyone can help identify the children I would appreciate
knowing who
they are.
