BECK’S CHAPEL

February 24-Bro. Weatherby was with us last Sunday and preached a good
sermon from the 12th chapter and first verse of Romans. (We can guess his
denomination from that chapter-Ed.)

We sure had a good rain Sunday morning.

Health good at this writing; only one case of sickness. John Powell has a sick child.

The writer has gone to work at last, don’t know how long the old buggy horse will hold out.

Peach trees are blooming and the birds are singing as though spring was near.

One man told the writer he saw more drunk men in Malakoff last Monday than
he ever saw when they had saloons. What is the trouble?
