Pottowattomie-May 5.--
The rain last Tuesday sure helped our crops; also Saturday night
we had
another hard rain. We wish the farmers of our
community all kinds of good luck with their crops this year.
Mrs. Crawford went to Kerens Saturday morning but returned home
Saturday afternoon.
Clarence Foster and family visited Mr. Bill Foster's home Sunday.
Herndon Youngblood, Shelton Dodson, and Clarence Foster all went
over to Navarro Tuesday afternoon on a brief visit to
see relatives.
Robert Whitehead is improving; he was able to
attend Sunday School Sunday.
Athleen Youngblood spent Saturday night with Mrs. Crawford.
Those on the sick list this week are Clarence Foster and
Mildred Crawford.
Bettie Jane Clampitte visited Eunice Miers Sunday.
Miss Elizabeth McCaleb of Athens visited Mrs. Kate Foster
Saturday
morning.
Mrs. Frank Whitehead's sister of Walton community arrived Monday
to
spend a few days with her.
Mrs. P. H. Youngblood and family have a radio. They invite their
neighbors
who don't have one to come over and listen in.
Those visiting Mildred Crawford at Martins Mill, Monday were:
Levie Halbert,
Snow Dodson, Athleen Youngblood, Mrs.
Crawford, Herndon Youngblood, Shelton Dodson, also W. L. and
Connie Knox.
