Payne Springs, June 5-
The crops are looking good, and promising now. Most everyone have their corn laid by and cotton chopped. The peanut crop is good and some few of the gardens are burning up through the hail district
Mrs. Irene McLaughlin who has been real sick is doing nicely. Those visiting in that home were Mr. and Mrs. Arch Thomas and family, Miss Juanita Everette.
Mr. and Mrs. Eula Hamilton spent Sunday evening with Mrs. Hassie Rogers.
Those visiting in the T. M. Whiteworth home Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Bernie McLaughlin and family and Weaver Hambrick and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Barney Cerveli and family spent Sunday with Mrs. Katie Roscoe.
Everette Davis of Dry Creek visited in this community Sunday.
Miss Lena Dee Davis spent week-end with Dorothy and Ida Hamilton.
Mrs. Sallie Hamilton of Austin is spending a few days here with relatives and friends.
