Modoc, Sept. 11-
A good shower fell here today.
Several from here attended the fair.
Mrs. J. W. Bailey, son George, and daughter Ruth
visited in Montalba Sunday. They brought Emma Bailey
home. She has been visiting relatives there.
Jack Tamplin and family visited in Bub Williams
home during the week-end.
W. R. McKay and wife spent Sunday afternoon in
the Henry O'Neal home. They also visited Truitte
Morrow who has recently been brought home from
the sanitarium.
Tom Kale and family, Buddie Williams
and Gladys Price spent Sunday in Jack Brown's
home.
Miss Lucille Moten of Palestine spent one night
last week in Alvin Morrow's home.
Miss Willie Teague spent the week-end with Iris Ramsey
of Pine Grove.
Turner Crecelius is reported on the sick list.
Misses Helen Kale and Doris Crecelius are
attending high school at Athens by bus.
Misses Atrelle Morrow and Stella Floy Pace
visited in Alvin Morrow's home Sunday evening.
