Athens Chaper, No. 55, A. F. & A. M. meets every 1st Saturday night.
New York Lodge, No. 446, A. F. and A. M. meets Saturday evening before the first Sabbath in each month.

The following officers were elected to fill the offices of the Athens Lodge, A. F. & A. M. No. 165. on last Saturday night. The installation took place on Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock: J. H. Jarrell, Worshipful master. W. T. Eustace, Sr. Warden, J. Paul Jones, Jr. Warden; W. R. Dickerson, Treasurer; Wm. M. Matthews, Secretary; W. B. Stirman, Chaplain; G. V. Adams, Sentinel; T. F. Murchison Sr. Deacon; Geo. M. Wofford, Jr. Deacon.
