Mrs. Hollis McLauchlin said it is true that Clyde Barrow did
attend school in Henderson County. Mrs. McLauchlin taught
school at the one-teacher school at Jackson Prairie four miles
north of Mankin and north of Trinidad. She taught school from
1921 to 1924, and Clyde Barrow and his brother --Barrow, attended
school there. They were both good students and they lived with their
sister, Mrs. Oscar Nellie Weathersby, at Jackson Prairie,
Mrs. McLauchlin said one year she had 60 pupils in her one-room
school, but she enjoyed them all, and never had trouble with her students.
