January 15--Well we had a light shower here Sunday morning which was needed badly and was greatly appreciated.
Bro. Kirksey failed to fill his regular appointment here Sunday on account of bad weather.
We are sorry to report so much sickness.
Miss Lottie Tanner who has been very low with pneumonia is better at this writing.
Leona Mae Brown is on the sick list this week, but we hope for her a speedy recovery.
R. O. Benton of Athens spent Saturday night and Sunday with J. W. Benton and family of this place.
L. E. Benton went to Athens last Monday on business.
Walter Wilson of the Sand Flat Community was in our midst Sunday. Mr. Wilson is a fine young man and we welcome him back again.
There will be church at the school house next Sunday night. Every one has a cordial invitation to attend. BLUE EYE
