Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Adair have been sick with the flu; also J. W. Sims.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Knight gave a musical at their home last Tuesday night.

Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Darden moved last Wednesday to Murchison.

Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Adair gave a party Wednesday night and a nice time was reported.

Friday night G. W. Adair gave a musical entertainment. Saturday night Mrs. Ella Guthrie gave a 42 party to the neighbors and Mr. and Mrs. Felix Hudnell gave a dance.

The bridge at the Barry farm is torn up. The people have to drive down in the branch between the old bridges to cross now, going to New Hope and Chandler. Our commissioner needs to look after this business.

Mr. and Mrs. James Day visited G. M. Day Sunday. He is no better yet.

Mr. and Mrs. R.O. Sims visited Sunday in the Bud Sims home.

Misses Oleta and Johnnie Faye Hopson visited Saturday and Sunday in the Cas. H. Hopson home.

Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Kirkpatrick visited the latter's parents; Mr. and Mrs. Price Adair Sunday; also Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gideon were there.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Tillerson visited here Sunday with home folks.

Miss Orene Lee Grandbury of Tyler was operated on last week. She was carried to her grandmother's home, Mrs. M. A. Grandbury, last Wednesday. She will go from there to her father's home, Archie L. Grandbury, soon.

G. M. Day is planning on going back with Bud Carver to West Texas this week for his health. Mr. Carver will work on the good road with the Richie Construction company. They have forty miles to build.

Mrs. Carl Jones and son, Quincy, visited Mrs. R. O. Sims Monday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Adair are moving in the house Mr. Hewett vacated on the Barry farm.

Mr. and Mrs. Paroline visited in Tom Barry's home Sunday.
