Carroll Springs, May 5--

As it has been several weeks since any news from this place has been
reported, will try to give a few of the happenings.

Little Dorlis Lambright who broke his leg in February is walking again.

Quite a few enjoyed a little party at Harmon Cummings' Saturday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Lambright, Mr. and Mrs. Jap Lambright and family spent
Sunday in the Forest Till home. Mr. Till who has been confined to his bed for
several months is not showing any improvement.

Mrs. Rafe McWhorter and little daughter, Malindo Ann, spent Saturday night
and Sunday in the J. J. Hogg home of Springfield.

There will be a Mother's Day program at the church Sunday night.
Everyone come and bring some one with you.

Mrs. Harmie Cummings spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Rafe McWhorter.

Mrs. Jack Williams of Springfield spent Saturday night in the Harmie Cummings home.

Lois and Clint Lambright spent Saturday night in the Perry Hickman home of Bois 'd Arc.

Mrs. Roy Grissom and children, Bernice and James, spent Sunday with Mrs. W. N. Tillison.

Bois 'd Arc and Carroll Springs played ball Sunday, the score being 10-2 in favor of Bois 'd Arc.

Misses Myrtle Lee Lambright and Vivion Till spent Saturday night with Wilma Dean Cummings.

Miss Adale Kale spent Sunday night with her sister, Mrs. Clarence Cummings.

Mr. Alba Tillison who is employed at Athens spent Saturday night and Sunday with
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Tillison.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Akins of Bell, Texas, are visiting in the J. D. Akins home.

Mrs. Gifford Thomas of Springfield spent the week-end with her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. J. W. Cummings.

Those who spent Sunday in the Harmie Cummings home were: Mr. and Mrs. J. D.
Akin and little daughter, Helen, Mr. and

Mrs. Elbert Akin and children of Bell, Texas and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Cummings of
Sampson.
