ATHENS
A Bridegroom en Route.

ATHENS, April 30th. -- [Special.] --- Thom Jones, chief clerk of the general land office, left here tonight with his mother, Mrs. C. W., Hon. Jon. S. Jones, his brother, and wife, J. Paul, J. A. and Hubbert Jones and County Attorney Gosett for Dallas, where on the 2d prox. Mr. Tom Jones will be joined in happy wedlock with Miss H. P. Plummer, of that city. Messrs, Farley, of Hearne and Whatley, of Dallas, also, and W. H. Gossett, of this place will act as groomsmen. We wish the happy couple the joy of a long life time. Mr. Jones is not only handsome, but agreeable, and marries one of the most beautiful of Dallas maidens.
