Mr. Jenson Moved to VA Hospital

Mr. and Mrs. Billy Jack Johnston, Zina and Sammy Ben of Big Spring visited Mr. and Mrs. D. O. Paris and boys Friday.

Mrs. J. H. Simpson of Kountze spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Lizzie Buckner. She was here to attend the commencement excercises of her
niece, Miss Carroll Ann Morgan. Mrs. Buckner returned home with Mrs. Simpson for a visit.

Our sympathy goes to the Jenson family in the death of their father and grandfather, Martin J. Jenson. He passed away Wednesday afternoon in an Athens
nursing home. Several from out of town were here to attend the Jenson funeral. They were Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Tarrant of Ft. Worth, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jenson
of Dallas, the Rev. Jimmy Rasco and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Christson and girls of Irving, Dan Rasco of South Texas and also two of Mr. Jenson's nieces of Houston.

Charlie Walker left Thursday for Finley, N. Dakota to work on a pipeline job.

Mr. and Mrs. D. O. Paris, Jerry and Randy visited Mr. and Mrs. Bill Paris in Athens Saturday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Dan Slaton have a new Chevrolet pickup.

Norval Jenson was transferred from a Jacksonville hospital to the Veterans Hospital in Dallas last Thursday.

Mrs. Jimmy Coggin and children of Wills Point spent Monday with Mrs. D. O. Paris and boys.

Kelly Dykes of Murchison spent Sunday with Lanny Godwin.

Quite a few of the Bethel children attended Six Flags Over Texas Monday.

Mrs. D. O. Paris, Mrs. Ferrell Green, Mrs. Nell Lambright, Mrs. A. M. Smith and Mrs. Dimp Smith were in Wills point and Edgewood Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. D. O. Paris, Jerry and Randy visited Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rice Saturday afternoon.
