On this page we wanted to provide you with a look into the past into our old communites that have either vanished or are still around, just no longer thriving. We're hoping to provide you with a brief history of the communities and maybe a picture or two of them. If you know of other communities that are not listed here, or you know the history of a community and want us to use it. Please contact Bunny Freeman Laura Roberts to let us know about them.
These communities, churchs, schools, branchs, creeks and lakes are listed on a map located in the office of the Henderson Co. Historical Commission. When we learn of a community's whereabouts it is added to this map.
Using State Highway 19 as the dividing line these are located on the west side of 19. If you have any information on these communities please let us know.
