Dear Sarah In haste I seat myself to write you a few lines as I
have
declined going to see you this time oweing to the extreme warm
weather and
my feeble health. I am afraid I could not stand the trip.
Winfield expects
to go in later in the fall that will suit me much better. Your
friends here
injouing tolerable health at preasant. Nothing particular has
taken place
since I last rote. We received a letter from Mary lately She
writes they
were all well She says she has written to you but received no
answer write
to me son tell me how your health Ann is anxious to hear from
(Pop) no more
at present as ever your loveing mother
