Dear Santa, I thought as Christmas is not so very long off, I had better write you. I want you to please bring me a string of beads and a ring. Also bring me lots of fruits, nuts and candy. Don't forget the orphans and my little friend, Dave. I think he wants a billy goat, a wagon and a pair of pajamas, so he won't get so cold. I am your little girl, Ruby Baucom Malakoff, Texas Dec. 6th

One of my teachers is Miss Maggie Mae Robbins, the other is Mrs. Lamb. I have been a good little girl. I want you to bring me a doll smaller than the one you brought last Christmas, a pair of skates. I asked for skates last Christmas but I didn't receive them. And I want a ball and bat, ring, set of tin dishes, fire works, and fruits. Letter to Santa from Shady Grove Primary Students
Santa Claus, We are primary students of the Shady Grove school. We have been studying very hard and have been good children. Please bring us some candy, fruits and toys. Don't forget to bring something nice for our teacher, Mrs. Hamill. We like your story "A Merry Christmas." We wish you a merry Christmas.
