Comments: Daniel R. Mcrae and Elizabeth Stewarts child John Daniel
Roderick Mcrae was a girl. They thought the child would be a boy since
all the other children were girls so they decided to name the baby after
Daniel. Daniel died before the baby was born, so after the baby was born
and it turned out to be a girl Elizabeth named her after Daniel anyway.
So her name was John Daniel Roderick Mcrae. They also named one of there
daughters Edward, one Jeffersonia and one Vandelia. The other two were
more feminine names.
