District Clerk's Office is on the 2nd
floor of the Henderson County Court House. All their records
are on the 3rd floor of the Court House but you have to go in
there first to
get permission to go to the 3rd floor.
The very Old records are in the Old Jail but the index is on the
3rd floor.
A clerk goes to the old Jail a couple days a week and will get
what you
need. Look in the index and make her a list of names, file
numbers and book
and volume numbers and she will get them and bring them to the
District Clerk
Office for you the next time she goes to the Old Jail.
This is Divorce, Civil and Criminal court records.
