  Sir:
 The following is a list of hands that worked on the road and the amount of
time each hand worked on the road that runs from Tyler, Smith County, Texas 
to Athens, Henderson County, Texas, by the Lolar (Colar?) Bridge on the Neches River
and by Brownsburro (Brownsboro): commensing at the Henderson County line 
near Hamburg post office and working to the bridge
near Brownsburrow on Kickapoo Creek:

Hiram Neff		worked	4 days
James Ingram	worked	4 days
David Cade		worked	4 days
W. B. French	worked	5 days
J. D. French	worked	4 days
T. J. Hair		worked	4 days
R. Wyet (Wyatt)	worked	4 days
F. Holiman		worked	2 days
P. P. Johnson	worked	2 days
G. T. Gilkey	worked	2 days
Elic Tinerson	worked	4 days
Glen Curent		worked	4 days
J. J. Kuyerkendall worked	4 days
       (Kirkendall)
J. R. Cantrell	worked	4 days
Assistant Overseer
The above said road is worked out in good passable order
cler (clear) through.
Since all roads had an overseer and all neighbors worked on a section
of the road, it can be determined where a person lived, espicially if the person owned no land. 
These records are stored in the Couty Court House in the 
Commission Office
