COMMENTS: In the summer of 1949, following a year's military service,
he entered the John Sealy Medical Branch of University of Texas and
graduated in June 1951. Immediately upon his graduation, he entered
the Herman Hospital in Houston, where he completed his internship
on July 1, 1952, and joined the physician's staff at Kilman Hospital in
Malakoff. Dr. Haynes was a practicing physician in Malakoff for 51
years. He was a member of the University of Texas Ex-students
Association and ranked number 24 as a life member.
