Henry Spangenberg  August 12, 1836 to February 28, 1914

Below his name is engraved.  Our Father has gone to a Mansion of rest.
To the glorious Land by the Diety blest.

Nancy James Spangenberg  May 10, 1844 to July 12 1908.

Below her name is engraved.  rest Mother in quiet sleep.
While friends in sorrow O'er weep.

The son of Henry and Nancy Spangenberg.

Martin Spangenberg  Mar 08, 1878 to April 26, 1905.

On his stone is engraved.  Weep not he is at rest.
Weep not father and mother for me.
For I am walking in glory for thee.

Paul Spangenberg  October 21, 1906 to September 11 1908

On his stone is engraved.  No pains, no grief, no anxious fear.
Can reach our loved one sleeping here.

Albert John Nowotny & Mina "Minnie" nee Spangenberg

Albert John Nowotny - Born July 09 1877 died Dec 30 1963  at the age of 86
Mina "Minnie" Spangenberg Nowotny - Born August 10 1877 and died Mar 25 1943 at the age of 66.

Albertand Mina Nowotny are in the Comal Cemetery in New Braunfels, Texas with two of their eleven children.  They are in their family plot.   Go in Second  gate to Cemetery Ave. C.  Go to your left they are in the fourth plot down on the right.

Clarence Albert Nowotny was the fifth child of Albert and Mina nee Spangenberg Nowotny.  Bor January 08 1906 and died June 21 1975 at the age of 69.

Evelyn Nowotny was the eighth child of Albert and Mina nee Spangenberg Nowotny.  Born February 17 1911 and died November 04 1912 at the age of nine months and 10 days.

On the back to the right of the entrance of the family plot is Clarencea Albert Nowotny.  To the left of the entrance is Mina nee Spangenberg Nowotny and to her left is Albert John Nowotny.  The front row is Evelyn Nowoty.

Albert and Mina were married December 05 1897 and stayed married until her death in 1943.  Upon Albert's death in Redlands, California in December of 1962, he asked to be brought back to New Braunfels and placed next to his beloved Mina so that they may be togeather for eternity.

Albert and Mina had 11 children and were married for 46 years.

Mina "Minnie" Spangenberg was the third daughter of Hermann and Anna Marie nee Wersdoerfer Spangenberg.

Albert John Nowotny was the first son of Johann and Mina nee Tausch Nowotny.

Albert and Mina "Minnie" nee Spangerberg Nowotny were my Great Aunt and Uncle.

The Comal Cemetery is on the corner of East Common St. and Peace Ave.  The entrance is on Peace Ave.
