Mrs. Addie L Pritchett (Prickett) guardian of Gertrude Gates, failed to give a new bond as required, she is barred from being a guardian. She also has moved with the minor to Aztec, New Mexico. The case is suspended until further action.

Know all men by these presents that the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company, a bay corporate. duly incorporated under the laws of Maryland, doth herby constitue and appoint, E.R. Lewis, E.A. Robbins, W.S. Hunt, Sterling Myer, R. G. Maury, and E.W. Townes of the city and County of Harris and state of Texas, to be true and lawful attorneys in and for the State of Texas for the following purposes to wit: Case no. 144, Feb. Term 1907, Addie L. Prickett and Company above as surity, Addie was appointed guardian of "Person and estates of Gertrude Gates, Gracy E. Gates, Orland C. Gates, and Albert B. Gates, minors; signed by Addie L. Prickett and Wiley J. Prickett and United States Fidelity and Guaranty Co. 4 Apr 1907. ( Addie is the mother of the Gates Children, at the time of this file, they were in San Juan County, New Mexico).
- Page 77, Case no. 144, Gates minors, Addie Prickett Guardian, reports that: "The following described property has been discovered and is believed to be a valid claim in favor of said estate. Said claim consists of the fee simple title of said minors in and to ownership of a half interest" 200 acres of land out of abstract no. 145 cert. 88 , Survey no. 497 1/2 original grantee, N. Foregan, containing 320 acres on the waters of Williams creek, a tributary of the Hondo River, est. value $500. Plus 320 acres of the homestead property, filed Apr.12, 1907.
