Funeral services for Victor A. Saul, 55, prominent ranchman of the Camp Verde community for many years, were held last Thursday at Bandera, with Rev. Ralph H. Seiler, Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Bandera Cemetery.

Mr. Saul died Wednesday of last week at a San Antonio hospital. He had been in ill health for the past year and suffered a second stroke one week before his death. When he was first stricken last year, he moved with his family from the ranch to their home in Bandera.

A native of Williamson County, Mr. Saul had lived in this section since he was a small child. He was a veteran of World War I and served overseas.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lola Stevens Saul; one son, Sergt. A. V. Saul of the Army Air Base, Altus, Okla., his mother, Mrs. J. J. Saul of Kerrville; two brothers, D. D. Saul of Pipe Creek and Henry Saul of New Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Tanner of Center Point and Mrs. Lillie Howett of Kerrville.
