Located on the South side of hwy 337, ten miles out
from medina has lost its markers. they reportedly are in the stone
fence to the south.
The markers may not have still had inscriptions but
the name was known to be 'Crockett'. When new hwy 337 was built the local
citizens protected it, however since that time new landowners have removed
the tombstones and stacked them in the rock fence. All that is can be seen
now is mowed grass.
The only way to find this one today is with latitude
and longitude.
29.7738/-99.4123 decimal degrees marks its location
forever, despite its desecration.
However in the Bandera Cemetery book there is a reference
to the Tuff Cemetery being called that however that appears to be a mistake.
