A NEW TOWN ON THE MEDINA

Galveston Weekly News (Galveston, Tex.), Vol. 13, No. 22, Ed. 1, Tuesday, August 19, 1856

BANDERA CITY. - Such is the title of a new town on the Medina, about thirty-five miles above Castroville, which, a correspondent says, is rapidly improving. Bandera City is the county town of Bandera County, which embraces a delightful section of country. - Among other improvements, our correspondent notices the erection of a saw and grist mill, at a cost of probably $12,000. The invitation of our correspondent to visit his village, is accepted, and a representative of the News will shortly give our readers a full account of the beauties and progress of Bandera.
